Congress Repeals 3% Withholding!
The House of Representatives voted unanimously Wednesday Nov 16th to repeal the tax law that would have required federal, state and local governments to withhold 3 % of their payments to vendors.
The Senate passed the bill by 95-0 margin last Thursday. President Barack Obama signed the legislation into law Nov 21, 2011.
Your NUCA of OHIO chapter as well as NUCA National have lobbied heavily for the repeal of this bill.

NEW! June 30, 2011 - Governor John Kasich signed into law the new 2012-13 State budget. There are several items that affect small business in Ohio.
- Repeals Ohio's estate tax in 2013.
- Overhauls State Construction Law.
- Increases State prevailing wage threshold
- Creates a new 10% tax credit for investments in Ohio small business.
